Let’s Begin with the end in mind as you start planning for your portrait session. Before creating any images, you need a plan for where your images will be displayed. I will assist you through every step of the process to make your experience as easy and smooth as possible. Knowing how you want your portraits displayed helps me create the images needed for the perfect wall gallery or a beautiful heirloom album for you to display in your home.

You should enjoy the experience of having your family portraits done. Your session begins with what matters most – spending time with your family. I want to document this time in your family’s life. Your family’s memories will never fade, because you will have the images to look back on. My goal is for you to have them forever… for you and your family to enjoy them in your home.

01. THE PRE-CONSULTATION

This is a time for us to get to know each other and dream up portraits made just for you. The pre-consultation answers ALL your questions, from what to wear, to how images will be displayed, color design, location planning, and the look and feel of the session. We will discuss all the specifics, and you will handle samples in person, so you see what types of artwork fit best into your lifestyle and home.

02. YOUR SESSION

The day is here! Your session will be full of fun memories and a time just to enjoy being together. I will guide you through your portrait session with poses and actions to create a mix of stylized and natural imagery. Just sit back and relax and let me take care of the details.

03. ORDERING APPOINTMENT

After your images are prepared, we will meet for your product design and ordering session. We'll watch a slideshow (tissues provided;), and after choosing your favorite images, we will work together to design the heirloom artwork that you will fall madly in love with. I can work with a variety of budgets to accommodate and make your session memorable.

04. PRODUCT DELIVERY

Once we have finalized your print/product/digital image order and all payments have been made I order and deliver your products. This is my absolute favorite part of the entire client experience process. Delivery days are like getting to see all your beautiful gifts unwrapped and in your hands. I love watching families flip through photo books and get excited about their customized frames. Something about holding your own photos in tangible gifts truly makes my heart happy.
