A mini session is a sampling of what a standard 1 hour custom experience session would be from me.  They are a great way to see if we are a good fit for future sessions!  The mini sessions are shorter (15 minutes,) quicker and lots of fun!  They are great for families, kids, couples, pets, maternity etc.  They are an easy way to update your photos!

Sunday, September 7 with the following times available at a first come first serve basis: 5:20pm, 5:40pm, 6pm, 6:20pm.  The rain date will be Sunday, September 8 with the same time slots. 

My mini sessions are 15 minutes long

$99 for 15 minutes 

Includes:

-Admission for you and your immediate family for the festivals activities!

-One 8x10 print of your choice

-Additional prints and digitals are sold separately

-In person ordering appointment approximately 2 weeks after the session

There will be a rain date available on Sunday, September 8, 2024 with the same time slot that you chose. If this date looks like it will also be rainy we will schedule another evening.  If the rescheduled date does not work for your family, I will refund your session fee or you can use the payment to upgrade to a regular 1 hr custom session.

Certainly! If the mini session date doesn't align with your schedule, you're welcome to book another date while the Sunflower Festival is still open in 2024. However, please note that for bookings outside of the designated mini session dates, the session will be charged at the standard session fee rate of $200, and the complimentary 8x10 print will not be included. Let me know if you'd like to proceed with scheduling a standard 1 hr custom session at your convenience.

It all depends on the weather please refer to the Sunflower Festivals website for dates.  I believe the festival goes to mid September.

Mini sessions are for immediate family only as we only have a short window of time to capture your images.  If you would like a full extended family session at this location, please book a full session on a different date. Please contact me for info liz@justshootmephoto.ca

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome! The festival is pet friendly!  Please make sure they stay on a leash at all times.  Just keep in mind that we only have 15 minutes and adding a pet may take longer to capture your images!  Or, I can certainly do a pet only photoshoot as a mini session!  Another option would be to book a regular full 1 hour session at $200.  Ask me for details

Wear comfortable, coordinated outfits that reflect your family’s style. Detailed suggestions will be in the prep guide.

The Sunflower Festival is located in Chilliwack, BC. 

Please note: The sunflower field that is featured on this website is not the same location as this years mini sessions.

Session fees are not refundable but if someone gets sick you can use the payment to upgrade to a regular session, which we can schedule at your convenience. Standard custom 1hr sessions are $200.

If we need to rescheduled because of rain and if the new date/time does not work for your family, I will refund your session fee or you can use the payment to upgrade to a Standard custom 1hr session, which we can schedule at your convenience.

We will set a date to meet for your viewing and ordering appointment.  This will take place within two weeks of your session at my home studio. We will sit down and watch a slideshow then we will select your favourite image for your included product.  If you wish, you can select any additional images that you would like to purchase.  There is no purchase minimum and you are not obligated to make any additional purchases.

If your kids are extremely shy or scared of strangers, you might consider booking a regular 1 hour session. However, I have many many years of experience - so I have some tricks up my sleeve and I will do my best to make the session fun and relaxed.
